She mentioned providing a lot more vouchers than before and said that we need to build a lot more houses. There has been a lot of new houses built here.

Either HUD needs to provide a lot more vouchers, or they should screen out all the cheats who get Section 8 but don't actually qualify and that would leave a lot more vouchers for the people who really need one.
It looks to me like this country could use more houses, but that doesn't provide any help for low income or working class. It costs a lot of money to build a house and nobody is going to build them and then give them to the low income folks for a fraction of the cost. --76.178.xxx.xxx |
