2024 Virginia Landlord-Tenant Legal Update

On July 1, 2024, a the new Landlord-Tenant laws are set to go into effect in Virginia that every Landlord needs to be aware of and prepare for. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear from local real estate attorney John Kaptan as he shares his insights on these new laws and their impact on Virginia landlords.

Our Speaker - John M. Kaptan, Esquire is an associate attorney with Hanger Law where he practices real estate law and assists with sales, exchanges, contracts, leases, and landlord/tenant disputes. John is an honor graduate of Regent University Law School where he was named “Most Inspiring Graduate.” He was active duty military for 12 years and is a Virginia licensed real estate professional. John has prosecuted cases for the Virginia Beach Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, interned for the Supreme Court of Virginia, and assisted the Legal Advisor to the Supreme Allied Commander for Transportation at the Norfolk NATO headquarters.
