After removing carpet and pad, the concrete slab smells of dog urine. What is best? Enzymes? Has anyone used Biokleen BAC OUT? Does it work?

Thank you very much. --76.202.xx.xxx

Likely the easiest method for you now is 1-2 coats of Kilz Original OIL-based primer. Worked wonders for me, where I had real doubts anything would work to seal in persistent odors. --174.21.xx.xxx

I first use my pressure washer with vacuum attachment to remove most of the urine stain. Then I use Enzymes designed for pet mistakes. I sometimes have to apply the Enzymes two or three times. Then afterwards I clean the area again and use a hot soap and scrub brush to remove the discoloration and any residual smell. --47.156.xx.xx

I had to paint wood due to cat urine and then use luan and self stick tile. You really need to seal that slab. Maybe I would use some glue down vinyl tile or sheet goods over that slab if there were no pipes in it. --173.61.xxx.xx

this came up 2 times recently. Use natures miracle advanced in a red jug at pet smart. Soak the area and scrub it in a little. The cat version is stronger than the dog. --24.194.xx.xx

There's a product called OdorXit available on this site that is highly recommended. They will also be at this year's Landlord Convention. --173.50.xx.xxx
