I m not a person who uses facebk, so not familiar with what it can do.
However, in my area there is a fb group, xxx helping xxx (city name). It's a public group so it's easy to view, you just can't post or get details unless you join up.
However, as I read the posts of others, I see many people admitting they are broke, in desperate trouble, etc. Searching for housing, vehicles, furniture , jobs and more.
Many just seem to use their names (I recognize some).
Made me think this could be useful for compiling a list of people who may not meet our criteria.
Kind of like watching the news and building a list of those being arrested for drugs and other crimes. --23.121.xx.xxx |

I don't see it being effective use of time to screen people who haven't even shown any interest in your rental.
I do keep a list of people that have previously contacted me and that I've rejected. whenever someone emails me thru zillow, I search their phone number, email, andor name thru that list. --144.250.xx.xx |

I see the same people looking for housing on FB all the time. And the same people ask to see every single one of my houses regardless of size or location. And they seem to be looking year after year, which tells me no one else will rent to them either... --50.82.xxx.xx |
