I am seeing the yield curve is inverted (holding water). If the folks with the Noble Peace Prizes are correct, the economy will be unstable in 6-9 months

Fed mostly can impact the short end of the curve and they've been raising rates. They probably want to trigger a recession. --209.122.xx.xxx |

An inverted yield curve is a big worry. I've seen them go inverted for short time periods without a problem but if it were to remain inverted for a while I would start becoming very concerned. --24.20.xxx.xxx |

Here's the fix for all the curves and bumps in the road for us "regular people". Most of this "stuff" is hog wash and takes up way to much time of normal folks.
When people are working rents are up.
When people aren't working LL's adjust the rents so they get paid.
When the economy picks up-- rents go back up.
I know very simple formula. Nobel Laurets make a living at predicting, writing books, preaching and tv interviews not working the land sort of speak.

Inverted yield curves can exist, but can't persist. If the yield curve were inverted for a long time, investors would borrow at the long end and loan on the short end making an arbitrage profit. The long end demand would drive up long term rates and the short term additional supply would drive down the short term rates and once again we would have a normal yield curve. --23.227.xxx.xxx |

Be concerned, very concerned... locally, I live at the RV capital of the world. Every time the RV plants slow down, we have a recession soon there after. Plants were shut down for 3 weeks at christmas instead of the normal two weeks. Most are only working 4 days/week... but home by noon instead of 3 or later. So less production...
Watch out later this summer. Stocks will come down.... --66.170.xx.xxx |
