Metal bathtub was installed 2 years ago. Today I discover a tiny hairline cracks on the enamel.
Any ideas how to stretch the usage?
I think to polish it with car wax...
Anything else?... --74.90.xx.xxx |

Car wax will only work until you clean it depending on the cleaner you use. Most bathroom cleaners will strip the wax. There are company's that can refinish the tub where it sits. If you use car wax just make sure you use a cleaner that will not strip the wax. If this is in a rental that is probably not going to happen. --73.120.xx.xxx |

Just the paint has cracks-- the tubs not?
How I fix nasty tubs-- get a good shower rod-- curved and good shower curtain and keep closed while showing for rent. --99.103.xxx.xxx |

Just the paint (enamel) cracked. It is almost invisible now, but I was thinking about something preventative...

Try Milliput putty. Or if that's "overkill", use Sheffield (sp?) enamel paint. --99.92.xxx.xxx |
