I just did 5 rooms Allure flooring over existing beat-up laminate floor.. Lots of corners and diagonals to cut.. About 700-800 sqft, took me 2 days on and off(between doing other stuff)

It is hard on the back and I would love to hire it out.. My professional flooring tenant won't touch anything for less than $500 a day. I didn't ask him to quote on this job. Wonder how much you would pay for a Allure Vinyl floor job?

I get about $70 an hour on my W2 job. If I pay someone $70 an hour to lay floor, most likely I won't be doing anything worth $70 an hour (I am not looking at deals which probably is the most high priced job)

Then, what is a reasonable price for laying Vinyl floor? At what price point would you hire it out? The only thing I hire out regardless is roofing over 2 story building.

I wouldn't hire out allure because of how spotlessly clean it needs to be underneath. I wouldn't trust anyone to get that part right. The install is the easy part. --50.107.xxx.xxx

At Ken's price point, I would hire it out all day long.. No matter how slow they are, they would have finished it for about $1/sqft...

I got my guy sweep and mopped the laminated floor.. so, dust control is manageable and I will take a chance since they are not in kitchen or bathroom, where they are prong to water damage --71.232.xxx.xxx

perhaps you can find a 16 year old kid with a strong back and a weak mind......then you just need to hand them the cut pieces
