Hello everyone. Some of you here have suggested that the pictures on my advertisements need to be water marked. My other half is helping me out with correcting the advertisements and we can't seem to get the pictures watermarked. Does anyone know how to do this and then transfer them onto the add or do we put them on the add and then try to watermark. Thank you all for your time. --73.120.xx.xxx

watermark by using your photo program to add the mark on the photos on your hard drive, then delete the old views on the ad and replace with the 'new' marked ones --74.105.xxx.xxx

Do you have photoshop? What programs do you have? Can you call up the photo and type your phone number large across the photo and change the color to be yellow or white or transparent or translucent or anything like that? --99.203.xx.xxx

uMark 6 works for me, it batch processes photos and watermarks them. I have not had photos pirated on Craig's List by scammers since I started watermarking thanks to advice on this board. Before it happened several times. --64.231.xxx.xxx

I had my phone number in big red letters across the bottom under under the door step. They still stole the photo and added their own copy and put it out there on their ad! Smart people called my red letter number and told me! Lol. Not so smart of them. Sorta comical! --99.203.xx.xxx

You can just open your picture with Microsoft paint (the free program that comes with windows). Just add text to the picture with whatever your watermark will be, then save and you’re done. --73.177.xxx.xx

Something you might want to be careful of or watch out for when watermarking your pictures. Of course this may depend on the photo editor or program you are using.

You may NOT want to put your watermark directly on your ORIGINAL picture. You may want to have a COPY of your picture and water mark that one and use in your advertising. This keeps your original picture intact.

I have Play Memories Home photo editor that came with the Sony camera. I also use Picasa sometimes. Not good with either one but even a blind sow will find an acorn now and then.

Just go play !!!

PS One of our very nice and helpful ladies out in W Kansas used a program I think she called it PicMonkey. She really liked it. There are dozens.

6x6, I was going to take another look at your listing and Zillow is showing as off market and not for rent. If it is not rented, you might double check that your listing is live. I had issues with Zillow once when I was trying to make changes and needed to email them and they did get the issue fixed within about 24 hours. --24.61.xxx.xx

I use ipiccy.com/ It's free. So far. This is about the 3rd site I've used. They're free for a while & then switch to paid. That's when I switch to something free. I just add text to my pics with the address, view, PM company name & call/text the office number. Haven't had any stolen in a while. --104.128.xx.xx

Still Learning, thank you so much for checking and letting me know. I didn't think it looked right. We went back trying to double check and it came up like a for sale page off market like you said but then over to the right side with other photos it showed it for rent. I am not sure how to email them but I think I might have got one to them. --73.120.xx.xxx
