I do not know. Our credit backround check service just would report of they had an felonies, and in most cases those types never made it past the initial screening.

OTOH - this is a timely question as

I will be renting a room/suite in another place this coming year and was thinking about this very issue, so I am interested to hear the responses from others. --74.105.xxx.xxx

Jersey has public access records, but they're hard to read. Nothing like PA Courts --209.122.xx.xxx

search njcourts dot gov

In the tool bar select PUBLIC/MEDIA

Then on the left side select Find a Case

Both civil and criminal info are there.

Domestic violence events are NOT discoverable on this site.
