I just got chewed out through text by someone looking to buy a house off me. It's listed as an AS-IS fixer upper for dirt cheap. Because well, it's a fixer upper that is selling as-is.

Utilities are off, condition unknown. They gave me an offer so low, that I would be proud to present such an offer myself. I simply said "thanks for your offer". Then I got blasted with texts about how I'm hiding things about the condition of the house, etc. I texted back and told the lady, "Hey, I told you everything I know about it and answered every question you asked. I never lived in the house and have spent less than a 1/2 hour inside the place. It's just an investment! :)". Then I blocked her #. Haha.

Sometimes you just have to turn down their noise and/or ignore it altogether. --50.32.xxx.xxx

Add $5,000 to the price however ms buyer since you could not afford it the first time we talked I doubt you can afford it now. SOOO don't waste your time nor my time on this house. Lets be clear I have not lived in the house and IF you read over or are familiar with the PA Disclosure Statement. I will have zero awareness of any of the systems that are covered in the PA Disclosure Statement. As a buyer you have the ability to have the house inspected and then you will know and have a better understanding of the condition of the house from a PA certified home inspector. Let me be clear as the owner of this property I WILL NOT be doing any repairs or upgrades irregardless of the final inspection report. The price of the house is 3 million 1 hundred 50 thousand dollars and 2 cents. Therefore if you want to move forward with the purchase of the house and have the funds available to purchase the house then we can move forward otherwise don't waste my time nor your time on a written contract to purchase the property at 123 H E dbl hockey sticksl bent on Drive, NE-ville, PA

That is called a motivation techniques where they are trying to make you consider the low offer. If the house can be brought up decent standards then there are going to be more buyers as move in condition. If want to renovate on the cheap then take a look at shopping at few Habitat for Humanity restores along looking for building materials on the internet sites.
