I had a new tenant send me a picture of white fungus growing out of the wall next to the bathtub. They have only been in the house 3 days. It looked like expanding foam and I really thought it was, but no, it is really fungus.
I already stopped the water that caused it. It was a fresh leak. How do I kill this fungus so it never comes back? --173.233.xxx.xxx |

The mushroom is the flower of the actual plant. Ya gotta kill the stuff in the wall.
We’ve had such blooms at the baseboard near sliding doors that were not properly sealed.

NE, the jury is still out on that one.
So far, the complaints are legitimate. I actually appreciate tenants who promptly report problems.
On the flip side, I have a three year tenant leaving this week. I've asked him regularly if there are any problems or issues and he said no, everything is fine.
Now that he is moving out he sent me a LONG list of chronic problems that could have been corrected years ago. Sheesh.
