Today went to the remembrance service at the city hall where there are things from the first world war. Many conflicts after where governments do not support the veterans who return home. The military service has always been a voluntary system where there never was conscription. Some veterans end up homeless the lowest point in life where there needs to be more to be done to support return to civilian live. Slowly the veterans are starting to get more help. Living in a democratic system has a price where no would want to live under a dictatorship.
The ability to vote out bad governments is possible. --147.194.xxx.xx |

They are getting a lot of help here from our President. There are also a lot of private organizations that help. --73.178.xxx.xx |

As a veteran, I have mixed feelings.
Some do expect to be cuddled and taken care of by others for life. Some even fraudulently collect money/receive help. And yes, some truly need assistance.
BTW, how is this administration's "Cleaning the Dept of VA" program going on? Is it successful or shameful as always?
For the record: I have never taken a penny of public money/funds and always paid my taxes in full. Yeah! --99.59.x.xxx |
