I am slowly recovering from Florence. Got the trees sawed up and hauled off and the stumps ground. All the trash raked up and disposed of. Cleaned the cement with power washer. I was blessed that I had no structure damage on the house. One leak from a window that was not closed all the way (my fault). Only thing left to do is have one of the piers washed back down as it floated up during the hurricane. I think one of those styrofoam blocks used for floating docks got under it and caused it to float up.
"This too will pass."

Sounds like you've bern been busy. Glad everything is going your way. Almost back to status quo.

Glad you are recovering...people here on the OBX got taken totally by surprise by Michael and there are more flooded cars, yards, houses...it came up fast and it went away fast, but 4 feet of water in your house doesn't get cleaned up fast.
Thankfully NONE of our properties got hit but many of our tenants lost their cars. --50.82.xxx.xx |

I like your attitude - you seem to be focused on getting the job done, and being thankful that things didn't go terribly. Here's hoping for a very quiet year for you! --71.175.xxx.xx |
