Are they really maggots or those flour moths that fly around in the kitchen. Their young are about a half inch long and tan. Maggots are very tiny, smaller than a rice grain and white. I think you have meal worms there. I had them in my kitchen once. I saw something in the dog's water bowl and ick, they were on the ceiling too. They are like butterfly larva and go into a molt and emerge as moths. I think that's what you have and I bet the tenant, not the guy above, has a pile of crumbs under her toaster. --73.178.xxx.xx
