State Specific Question About: MISSOURI (MO)
if I get a judgement against a tenant who previously had a judgement against him, will I not get paid by garnishment until the first Is paid fully off? --162.229.xx.xxx |

Yes, that is the likely scenario. Stand in line. --24.20.xxx.xxx |

Just having a "JUDGEMENT" doesn't put anyone first. It's not a mortgage.
Someone could have 3 judgements against them-- do you think if your number 4 the money goes to number 1 first-- and number one hasn't done anything. Perfect your judgment into a garnishment ASAP. Now the line is created. Sorry I'm not from MO. --99.103.xxx.xxx |

Here they cycle for 6 months, you just get in when someone else times out, you go for 6 then another gets a chance. --76.188.xxx.xx |

In my jurisdiction, I have to wait six months to try to collect or file on one's credit report because within six months of a verdict they can file an appeal. Then I'd need an attorney to fight this.
So after six months I search their finances and determine of they have attachable assets, a job with earnings or a bank/savings account. Then I have the courts send a Sheriff to attach or collect on the judgement. Doesn't matter if they have other judgement filed, If I find something and lay claim, I'm going to get paid.
Like the time an x-tenant purchased a 2 week cruise for himself and family. I was able to have a lien put on it so he missed his trip and there was no refunds.... I got nothing but satisfaction. --47.156.xx.xx |

Plenty yes of course but I thought this group was beyond knowing what order? We were talking "regular folk" judgements. Lets not forget the pesky IRS. --99.103.xxx.xxx |
