I am on a quest to revamp my rental application process. I want it to be significantly less hand on on my part.
In that vein I am trying tenant turnover and I am also going to list properties on MLS. I want the prospective tenants to apply for credit and background checks online and (this is important) pay for the background/credit checks online. I do not want to interaxct with them until i do the home visit.
So my question is what background/criminal/eviction/credit report services are there that the prospective tenant pays and applies and the results are sent to me.

Think of the big three credit bureaus. One of them has a service that I use.
I have a pre-screening Google Form. 99% are disqualified from the get-go, so one glance and done. Auto email sent.
If I show them the place and they want it, I send a link to another Google form - my actual application. I gather their info like SSN, DL #, etc. for my own records.
Then using the email address they provide, I send them the online link, they pay the $40 directly to the other company, and I get the results. --50.82.xxx.xx |
