THanks Steve, it was the 12 I was looking for. Tenant is suing for last month when they did not give a 30 day and moved the same month they paid rent. Court Magistrate did not know the law and only agreed to whatever agreement we would come up with, which I am not giving back last month. This is not going to end till someone rules on last month/ 30 day notice. --74.104.xxx.xxx

Section 12. Estates at will may be determined by either party by three months' notice in writing for that purpose given to the other party; and, if the rent reserved is payable at periods of less than three months, the time of such notice shall be sufficient if it is equal to the interval between the days of payment or thirty days, whichever is longer. --74.104.xxx.xxx

As Bet mentioned for several years a group of Mr LL Posters met in Portsmouth, NH. I believe Leigh from CA was the one who got things started. There were LLs from CA, MA, RI, NH, Me & I believe CT who shared pizza & info on their LLing experiences. --96.237.xx.xx

We use to meet once a year in the fall. It's been several years since our last get together.

As Lynn MA said several of the posters from this site attend Mike Hurney's LL group (MREI) in Peabody. Our next meeting is 10/30/2018 at 6:30. --96.237.xx.xx
