Does anyone have a source for replacement knobs for electric baseboard heaters? The box stores and my plumbing supply don't have them. I've robbed old knobs off of outdated heaters in the past. They are just the cheapest plastic and fail. And who knows who manufactured any given heater. The knob seems to be universal. Have you had this issue? --24.194.xx.xx

I recomend the furnace parts supply store that the HVAC companies use.

I don't know how to find it. One of my tenants worked there. But when I tried to find the address later, I couldn't find any listing for it, not online, not in the phone book. I had to get into my car and drive to it.

I used the place to buy furnace filters ( by the full carton), and I bought a woodstove there for a substantial savings.

I've seen my furnace guy here call for parts and I know he wasn't calling his company, so there is a parts store here, too.

Try asking your HVAC guy. --174.216.x.xxx

Check at your local old-fashioned hardware store. The ones near me have plastic containers of various control knobs. Not cheap, and might not be an exact lookalike replacement but should be able to find something that works. --174.21.xxx.xxx

Check this out. Sure looks like a replacement knob but it's labeled for a dryer.
