I'm looking for an app that would allow me to organize google voice texts like I do my e-mail. The volume of texts is getting such that it's hard to locate certain texts. Yes, you can search, but you still gotta dig through. Is there an add in app that anyone knows about?

I add every contact who calls or texts with a note as to the date, the person, and the property they're discussing. Occasionally, I add things like income, employment, or notes about family into the name contact. So it turns into things like "0618 Elm Prospect Harold Lloyd DairyQ" or "0918 Charlie Chaplin + Son + Grandd 3 Bed". --96.46.xxx.xx |

My helper simply puts their name next to their number. Then all communication with that person stays in a single thread.
Sooo easy to go back and find what was texted when.

There are settings in the Legacy Google Voice to email copies of texts & voicemail transcripts to your regular email account.
Click on the little cog looking icon in the upper right corner. (Settings)
Click on the second tab from the left (Voicemail & Text)
3rd and 4th settings down are "Voicemail Notifications" and "Text Forwarding". Check the box, provide your email...done!
These settings are also in the new version of Google Voice, but they are on separate sections. I find the Legacy Version settings easier to navigate and update. --173.20.xxx.xxx |
