I was just leaving the apt and they called and sounded good. The minute they showed up, I'm thinking they had been evicted. So they give me the credit report fee . The one adult had a 3 yr old eviction. But the 2nd adult no eviction. I knew she had one. So pulled credit. Credit had reported alias, looked up under those names. Yup there was the eviction I was looking for. I always know. Learned to checked alias from the credit report. --108.20.xxx.xxx |

The folks that live here are very distinctive look to the area. Yes I am profiling. Even my spouse knew the 2nd adult looked to have a eviction record. Her current address was not in a good neighborhood, so clue # 2. Honesty I can tell just by their name. I am guessing that most city residents have been evicted. 60% of applicants have eviction history. 1st adult appearance was not so typical but her manner was. I don't know if I could "tell" if they've been evicted or not - I can usually tell if they are someone I want to rent to though just by the way they answer questions or "tell their story".
I have told some (never did rent to them - BUT) that they need to stop using the term "evicted" because what they are describing is NOT eviction - your lease is up and they didn't renew it. Unless you went to court because you didn't leave... --69.201.xx.xxx |

For the last few days I have been getting calls from "Lonnie". He and the family are staying at a motel. RED FLAG I check him out on public records. Five failures to pay rent at an apartment complex/
