Just a fair warning to anyone considering buying paint or appliances from Home Depot with a rebate, and expecting to actually receive their rebate.
I bought several gallons of rebate paint from them in March and still haven't received all of the rebate cards. They are doing nothing about it, referring me instead to their rebate contractor. Several times, their rebate contractor just states they're behind and they make a promise to have the rebate to me in 10 days; that hasn't happened yet.
Buyer beware

Isn't the mr ll discount the same as the rebate? I never had a problem getting the rebates, they just took a while. Not 6 months though. --74.37.xx.xx |

That kind of thing is typical with Home Depot. I saw something about a so-called paint "rebate" with them. You would receive your money as credit on some kind of card. There were a lot of warnings about it. --73.95.xxx.xx |

Tell me more about the MrLandlord buying group? Is it only on paint or across the board on any item discount? --142.54.xx.xxx |

Thru my local LL Group (MA Real Estate Investors Association) I signed up for the REIA incentive program which gives me a 20% discount on paint and pays me 2% of my purchases. I get either a check or a HD gift card twice a year. I've saved a few hundred on my paint purchases & gotten back over $800.00 for my purchases made since last spring. Also as a HD Pro, I regularly use the bid room to get discounts on purchase over $1,000.00.

I used to do pretty good with rebates but yes have noticed over the last few years that they seem to "disappear" into the system and no way to get them to pay off. But my junk mail, spam email, and robocalls have increased each time. Not just HD, but ALL. No more rebates for me. --174.21.xxx.xxx |
