I know Brad and others have mentioned from time to time that they have accessories (lenses and such) to use with their smartphones and preferred software for cooking up videos to highlight their rental properties. I am ready to get the gear and figure this out. Could interested parties post a few tips for the uninitiated and set the ball rolling here? Hints of items available on Amazon that would help with this would be much appreciated as well as software packages or web sites that aid in processing video footage. The time has come for me to embrace this medium.

Thanks in advance for any and all postings.

Piggybacking on the topic-- I know my biggest problem is bounce when I walk, but when I choose "auto-smooth" when I upload to YouTube, it also interferes with the audio track. :) Recommendations on how to manage that part of filming are appreciated! --96.46.xxx.xx

I have been doing some looking around on Amazon and have located some wide angle lenses suitable for an iPhone 6 but I am not sure which ones are really best for this purpose. Then there is the entirely different problem that technical matters will not solve, that the tenants at my soon to be vacant unit have not kept the place as I would like to see it. My ad features vacant photos. Maybe I am preparing for a video for the next vacancy, not this one. --76.69.xx.xxx

I use my gopro. It has a wide angle option. It easily captures a whole room. As far as stability, look into whatever video editing program you are using. Most have a stabilize feature that helps a lot. --74.124.xxx.xxx

I post all my ads on Zillow and they have an app that will help you will this. I use an iPhone X in pano mode. Takes great video. For stills I use the wide angle lens for iPhone found on Amazon for $20-25. --98.121.xxx.xxx

Stephen,

I'm gathering all the product numbers for the equipment I use. It's all small, light, and inexpensive. Does a great job.

Brad, I was hoping you would write. I dug out an old post and looked at some of your videos on Youtube and they look very good. I would like to post some like that to support my online advertising. But knowing where to begin is the issue. I will await your post with interest. --76.69.xx.xxx
