We use zillow to list our cribs... We posted one for 1150 or so plus water... Get a call from a potential that asks how much the crib is cuz one ad says 700 and one says 1150... Turns out the thieves are back at it... They took the picture we had and some of the verbage of the ad and posted their own ad on CL that listed our crib for 700 and available soon, and dogs OK - NOT!!!
Anyway, we have seen this a few years ago I had some girl looking at one of my cribs when I was there to check on it and said it was 800??? I'm like wt.. we don't own cribs in the hood for 800 ANYWHERE... Turns out you contact the lister and they say they are out of town and to send a down payment to a certain address...
I talked to my friend JOE THE COP who is now a detective in Milwaukee and he says it happens a lot and theres not much you can do unless you got someone to take the bait etc... In other words the cops are too busy chasing our stoned good young citezens around the hood to take this too seriously...
Anyway, on another note: Heres another good one for you... My brother has a city lot he bought that is fenced in and has a large garage and small office on it... It is fully locked in by fence etc... He had a trailer stolen a few weeks back right off one of the work trucks in the lot... Turns out the thieves posted a pic of the trailer on the truck on CL and than got a buyer to buy it... They than went and stole the trailer to deliver to buyer...
SMART THIEVES... They actually took the pic of the stolen trailer to advertise it before it was stolen... IT WORKED!!! If only these dems could use their brains to make money the honest way... They might than be able to pay for some of the millions of kids they make and discard... Peace out brudders and sistas from utter mistas, Cimbad Out!!

I'm glad no one was around when they stole it or they would be more likely dead like the guy who had his BMW carjacked at a NJ mall last year. --73.178.xxx.xx |

When they got it cheap enough, why would they care if there was a title, they probably guessed it was hot.So hot,the title would burn up ,no matter where they put it.........................charlie ............Alexca came today, all wrapped up in bubble wrap, don't know what to do with her,she knows more than I do,so how can I compete..................................... --174.199.xx.xxx |

I just had the same thing happen in the same city. My $985 rental got hijacked from Zillow and advertised at $700 on craigslist. A guy named peterpaul. I watermarked all the photos, though, and a couple of savvy prospects called me to ask about it. Do the same to your photos NOW! --204.210.xxx.xxx |

Sorry about your situation. When I used to run adds in the local news paper, one time they got the price wrong. I had a deal that before the add ran, they would fax me a copy. This was going back 25 years or more. One time they listed the rent for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom unit as the same price of my 1 bedroom. I had to take the larger unit off the market. I lost 2 weeks worth of rent and sued the paper in small claims court. --47.156.xx.xx |
