For those of you that have an ORCHARD SUPPLY HARDWARE also know as OSH near you they are a pleasure to deal with. With their commercial credit card account you get 5% off which my Home Depot stopped doing, you can use a PO or job name to track for taxes and the following day returns can be done using only your phone number. Returns on the day of purchase require a receipt.
Due to poor service Home Depot has lost about 80% of my repair business. I had one HD person disappear and never return. The store manager had no explanation!!

I have a True Value hardware store near me and they do the same thing and it's an old fashioned mom and pop. I just love it. But they don't cater to construction, just handyman type stuff. --73.178.xxx.xx |

OSH has good deals if you follow their weekly ads.
Going into an OSH store, you don't feel it is a place for contractors, but they carry almost everything and they have short check out lines.
They also will load heavy items on your vehicle, things like a water heater, a sink or a toilet.
With so much competition from box stores, OSH is trying to stay afloat. --99.59.x.xxx |
