This is kind of off topic, since these quotes apply to all of humanity. But, they can certainly be applied to landlords & tenants, contractors, anybody really.

Never wrestle with a pig. You get dirty and the pig likes it. (NEVER argue with a res! Some have guns combined with no brains. I have NEVER gotten any money by arguing with them on the front porch.

And some people LOVE a good argument and will draw you in.)
