I have a guy trying to sell me ads on the back of Dollar General store receipts at a specific store for my We Buy Houses ads.Roughly 400 receipts printed everyday at this particular store and my ad would go on the back of pretty much every receipt.$210 monthly for 6 month commitment or $185 for 1 year commitment.People selling me houses probably do shop regularly at the Dollar General store.Any thoughts on this? --72.231.xxx.xxx |

Give it a shot. I'm calling on grocery cart ads soon too. Lots of local homeowners shop at the grocery store.

You could try it.
I actually check the figures on my receipts, but I don't read the ads. I suspect that most people don't even look at their receipt.

Several of the posters don't look at their receipts HOWEVER there may be a percentage of never look at the receipt. IF you get one house purchased from the ad its a great tool for leads. --99.56.xx.xx |

Do you have any older receipts from that store? I would be curious how many of the companies running ads on there a year or two ago are still running them.
I don't read the ads on my receipts, and I know a lot of people just throw them away, but if I happened to have a house to sell and your ad caught my eye as the receipt printed, I think I would read it.
If you already have a decent sized marketing budget for acquisitions, this may be an affordable experiment. Hopefully you can track what leads come from the receipts so you know if it was a good investment or not. --73.102.xxx.xx |

OUR Dollar General is low income folks, probably renting, but ya never know!
A wise marketing guru taught me "Move you advertising $$ around. Expose your business to other people."
Comment: not everyone GETS a receipt. Many cashiers ask me "Do you want a receipt?"
Use a different phone number to track the results. Maybe a Free Report on how to sell your home offer. Or free analysis to get in the door.
