Reading a few posts got me to thinking... "Geee xyz is really harsh!, & could have answered that nicer".

Then I started noticing stupid stuff I have done being talked about. The first 2 answers on a post were "nice" and didn't sink in. Then somebody was "harsh" and BING! the lightbulb went on. "uh oh.... I have done that or thats not in my lease, I need to up my game! "

Thanks to everybody who participates on here, even the harsh/snarky/funny people. Some of us need a kick in the head every once in a while !

Don't be changing any trends too quickly. All this talk about being responsible for your own actions and working for your goals is really going to impact my "A trophy for everyone business model".

(If there are 320 million people in town, and each one gets a first place trophy....and I can make ten bucks off each piece of China trophy I supply....I'm talking good nest egg here).

I go by the old saying from the movie "Road House." "Be nice, until it is time to not be nice." I can be quite "unnice," but I've found a professional, no nonsense but nice approach works with most folks.

The School of Hard Knocks is a real eye opener. Many have a PHD in it and have learned a great deal from their mistakes.

Harsh answers works compared to sugar coating it. If you want the warm and fuzz buy a teddy bear give it a BIG HUG and then come back for the answer that will cure your problem.

Typed words cannot show my friendly smile and compassionate tilt of the head when I tell someone they have been foolish, now do this to fix it.

I like this site better than another popular site where the posters are new, inexperienced, and offer platitudes or "seminar talk" rather than proven solutions.

If this means anything for years I posted about Early Lease Termination Fee (and texting) and took a lot of negative heat. One by one LLs tired it and now it's a normal lease clause for forum frequenters, adding THOUSAND$$$ to their income, and they are texting!

I also notice the later it gets the more direct I get!
