Is anybody using Xero for payroll and accounting? Any thoughts before I try it out?

I have not, I use QBO. However, I have a few 1099 contractors who needed something more user friendly than QB's so they tried XERO. I know they both switched to Fresh-books.

Have used it daily for last 3 years for my other (non-landlording) biz.

Works great for us.
