I got a judgement for 3200 from the court over a kid in the Navy who trashed my rental house.
Tried to then get a garnishment, but the navy kicked him out. I have his name and ssn. I think he probably went back to Indiana where he is from. Any idea how I can find out if and where he is working and get a garnishment?
Will a garnishment from Virginia work in Indiana?
I checked his facebook account, but it is pretty much abandoned.
When the state gave me the judgement, they never linked his SSN with the name on the judgement. Is there a way I can publish the judgement with the SSN that will receive visibility to future land lords and show up in credit reports?
Thanks for any help --70.184.xxx.xx |

Time is on your side.
Keep an eye on FB, LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
If he winds up working at a company in IN that does not have VA locations you will most likely have to file the judgment as a foreign judgment in an IN court before collecting via garnishment. If your court in VA will allow you to file the garnishment on an IN company there is a small chance that the company will fulfill the garnishment but he VA court cannot require them to comply with a garnishment order - only an IN court can do so. --166.137.xxx.xxx |

Patience is the name of the game. Keep your judgment up to date. Facebook- google or just plan ol checking the internet. When Xmas comes around-- that's the time there applying for credit and you can find them this or next year.
Would like to stress this is why you need a great application-- not for them currently but in the future when they disappear.
Did you check his mail or change of address form with POffice. How u know he was booted out of USN? --99.103.xxx.xxx |
