I heard DH's cell phone ringing early this a.m. He advised me that one of our tenant's (3 yrs) suspects his GF is cheating (he works nights). I said, well I sure hope he doesn't expect you to spy for him? That is one thing we are SURE not going to do. Who wants to contribute to what's going down next? Not me. --71.219.x.xxx

I did not do well in drama class, so I will only speculate getting all the paperwork ready for eviction, in every property folder I keep the proper court case paperwork (and often a spare set) just for these situations, I did not raise any of my tenants so the depth of drama I will never understand and I take a regular class load of legal/engineering/chemistry classes, no time for drama class. --76.188.xxx.xx

DH is short for "dear husband". (grin) He's been a good tenant, young and requires some hand holding from time to time. Such as telling me the grass needed cutting (I told him to read the lease, he's responsible for that) Calling me & telling me he didn't have any lights, when we were having a power outage. She calls when she hears a noise at night, but overall paid on time.

He says she doesn't pay any of it anyway and I don't blame him for wanting her out if she's cheating in the trailer he's paying for but they have a kid together so I hope nobody gets hurt or killed.

I'm not worried if he leaves, I just don't want to clean up blood! We need to raise the rent on that one anyway. --71.219.x.xxx

Eh, small potatoes. If the blood won't clean up, just prime it with Bin Zinnser and paint as normal. Haha. --50.107.xxx.xxx

Oops- there I go sounding snarky again. Didn't mean to imply the screening process was flawed.

There is a whole lot of people in each generation that just don't bother to think for themselves. We're landlords, not help-lines! --172.56.xx.xx

This sounds like an exciting new business opportunity. Maybe consider dipping your toes into the private detective business: "We catch cheating spouses/girlfriends." --50.45.xxx.xx

If it's fresh blood, start by using Hydrogen Peroxide before doing anything. It breaks down blood without much scrubbing. It bubbles up, then the blood stain is gone. The older the blood, the less effective.

My wife taught me that trick and fearing what other crime scene cleanup tricks she knows keeps me faithful. --108.69.xxx.xxx

We live on 180 acres. This rental is 1/2 mile from our house. It's kind of hard not getting too close to a tenant when he is your neighbor! Nuff said.

Kind of sweet/sad that he trusts my husband enough to share such intimate info, but guessing he wants dirt on her, I am saying no way, do not get pulled into it even if they pull up into our yard & well...... --71.219.x.xxx
