Congress eases post-crisis partisan democrat crippling bank rules!!!!
The vote eases some of the 2010 Dodd-Frank rules that have hurt smaller banks and community lenders and keeps the Republican president’s promise to try to spur more economic growth by cutting regulation, but does little for Wall Street.
“This is a legislative win for the banks, but the biggest deregulatory bang for the buck is changing the referees, not the rules,”

Me? They credit me? Wow. I just post my ideas as I see them I never really thought people even listened to what I wrote.
On another note. I'm so tired of banks, I don't want them as partners anymore. They are nice people but just someone I no longer wish for in my future.
Good that the local banks will be able to do more. I would like to be out of the banking world altogether....but that won't happen anytime soon.

...the wood platform you built...
PLUS your vote made a difference tooo.
This midterm is an extremely important one to vote out the socialist mindset dems and a few repubs. There are more positive changes to happen and soon Dodd Frank will be no more the overburdening regulations that hurt the banking industry, especially the consumer.
Go VOTE this midterm election...
If you are a socialist, move to Canada or Mexico or a Dem stay at home... --99.56.xx.xx |

The rolling back of DF certainly doesn't help the consumer against banks that repeatedly defraud their customers.
Well Fargo:
Opened millions of fraudulent customer accounts
Admitted to illegal student loan servicing practices
Checking overdraft fees abuses
VA Loan Refinancing fraud charging Vets illegal fees and hiding the fees from the gov't
Discriminatory Mortgage lending by steering minorities into to more expensive mortgages than equivalent white applicants
Illegal loan modification that neither the borrowers or courts requested or approved
Fraudulent mortgage fees by systematically delaying loans so that closings went beyond the rate lock period and charging the customer to extend the rate lock
Auto lending abuses forcing insurance protection bowwers didn't need and Wells defense that it only harmed 570,00 of its customers after thousand of people had their cars repossessed
Do you honestly believe the millions of WF victims of lending abuse are better off now that they are forced into arbitration with a proven serial liar and cheat with no one overseeing the process to protect the customers from being swindling once again?
Is WF an outlier? Perhaps, but I wouldn't bet good money on it.

I blame the government as much as the banks. They encourage banks to lend money that if they were on the hook for they would never do.
I'm sorry but I see it all the time, you should not be able to buy a $450k house with $5k down. If a bank was forced to keep that loan on their balance sheet like in the old days they would never do it. --24.45.xxx.xxx |
