Another interesting conversation today with a wanna-be roomer.

Background: He left a message Monday " called you Sat and today and would appreciate a call back..." Definitely sounded annoyed & impatient.

I checked - missed call Sat, no message. Returned the call Monday, no answer-left message with website &phone # and "call me back".

Today, Wed - He left another message (& three missed calls this AM) Again sounded really annoyed at not being called back.

Called him back again & he answered. I asked the first of my three standard questions: 1) "Do you have any current charges or prior convictions for anything violent or drug related?"

Answer: "No. Just had to do 6 months of probation for aggravated assault. But it was nothing - just had a fight and won. Nothing violent."

Oh my! What is the definition of violent in his mind?

That story makes no sense on any level. Agg assault is pretty serious--much more serious than just being in a fistfight--people go to prison for it. He got only 6 months probation for that? --72.188.xxx.xxx

If you are used to doing worse than just beating people up maybe you don't consider beating people up as being violent.6 months from now you will see him on the news for being a serial killer. --72.231.xxx.xxx

Sounds like someone I ran across a month ago. The shelter tried to claim he was a model citizen. PA Courts said otherwise --64.121.xxx.xx
