Has anyone had any success with this for debt reporting? Someone suggested it. I registered account and paid fee last week. When I called customer service to find out how to expert alerts as to what actions have been taken, etc., I was told I wouldn't receive anything but to "know" that credit agency is working it. If the debt is disputed, they'll ask me for more info., etc. Is this normal? I don't think it's unreasonable to be able to review what, if any, attempts/results are being made.

It's pretty normal, yes. I'm not sure what you expect. We're not talking about a COLLECTIONS agency or anything. We're talking about just a Debt Reporting service. That's generally a "file it and forget it" situation.
I'm not sure what alerts you would expect to get, I guess?

Sorry, my bad. If you mean debt collection and not just the reporting, then I agree that updates being provided (as they send letters, contact via phone, and so on) would be a beneficial feature.
That being said, I know many debt collection places don't really say much of anything about it unless they collect something.

I have read the info below in several sources, I was wondering how this will affect the mrlandlord reporting.
Starting July 1, the three major credit reporting companies — Equifax, Experian and TransUnion — will enforce stricter rules on the public records they collect, requiring each citation to include the subject’s name, address and either their Social Security number or date of birth. Nearly all civil judgments and at least half of the nation’s tax lien records do not meet the new standards, and will be eliminated from consumer credit reports. --68.60.xxx.xx |

MOBY: That refers to what the reporting agencies will include on their reports. Since most courts will not include the SS# which has caused a high percentage of judgements appearing on the wrong person (same name ).
A collection is different. All of the information has been verified. Once it goes in to collection that will show up on the credit report.
There was a post on here a month or two ago where someone reported that this service had successfully collected funds for them.
