Argh. Against my own better judgment I once again posted my upcoming vacancies on two local FB groups as CL keeps ghosting one of them for some reason.
Immediately started getting notifications of "Likes" and "Shares." In checking, the Shares are all to people I have already rejected, all of them more than once...so they are still looking, can't find anyone to rent to them...makes me want to go take it back down but I'll give it day and we'll see. --50.82.xxx.xx |

Or worse, have one of your current tenants suggest someone that you know has been evicted a couple times by others! AWKWARD! I have learned to ignore or keep my mouth shut about the real reason, due to unwanted flashback. Why even go there? It's interesting that you said that CL "ghosts" to one of the facebook pages. I joined one last year and wasn't all that impressed by the responses. I haven't posted to them now in quite a while (and took down the ones that were there - either they are already rented or whatever).
The other day I asked someone where they saw the ad for the apartment (I do this so I know what is working and what isn't, etc). They said "well, CL but also on Facebook". I know I didn't put it on facebook and was thinking that they probably just "thought" they did ...
How can CL put the ad on FB? That just seems odd that they would do that ... I've been meaning to go out and look on FB just to see if it was there ...

I've gotten into the habit of blocking the telephone numbers from grossly unqualified applicants. It cuts down on the amount of stupidity that I've got to deal with day to day and it gives me a few more moments of peace and quiet.
I hosted an open house last month and had one woman come in "I've been trying to call you all week, I REALLY like this place!". Hmm, I never received your call (*grin). After two more minutes of conversation, I remembered why she made it to the blocked list. --170.224.xx.x |

Watch out for typical negative internet comments. Those sites tend to breed negativity which is forever attached to your name or page.
