I've been looking into fully furnished Corporate Housing 30+ day rentals to Corporate Execs, Traveling Nurses, Relocation ... VS. doing fully furnished with Airbnb. Jeffrey Taylor talks about Corporate Housing often better than traditional. BUT He still appears to have many "traditional" rentals,

I see very little about it here; except in his books like the "The Landlord's Kit". Has anyone tried BOTH? If you want to avoid most regulations/ inspections; then 30+ day rentals w/ Corporate Housing sounds great.

Of course, I hear much more about Airbnb supposedly huge $ to be made with Airbnb. 30+ days avoids hotel tax. My local town wants no more than 120 days for STR & owner occupied but I have a legal duplex that isn't owner occupied, I want more than traditional $. Al Williamson any ideas?

If I heard "My landlord is selling the house" once, I heard it a dozen times this year. With the market up, most of the stories are likely true. And ditto for "My landlord is turning my place into an AirBnB."

Both actions have removed a large number of former annual rental units from the market, and have driven up the average cost of the remaining ones by quite a bit.

We are a tourist area, so maybe it will all work out for them. But I'm guessing not many know how much work goes into running a good AirBnb - one that gets good reviews and repeat business... --50.82.xxx.xx

What is your local market like? We considered turning a large addition on our home into a self-contained apartment. When I searched airBnB, though, I found several comparable-or-better offerings for $40 a night!! I couldn't believe how cheap they were. Other towns I haven't been able to find anything under $90. So research your local market. --204.210.xxx.xxx

So no one has any experience with Corporate housing or executive housing vs. Airbnb? Which is better or more profitable? --68.132.xx.xx

Al Williamson does. He is doing both. He has a book on here "Airbnb for Landlords" and he has an active FB group too. Search on "Airbnb for Landlords." --50.82.xxx.xx

He is recommending corporate housing over AirBnB, I think. But it depends on what your area will support. --50.82.xxx.xx
