Well, the roomer is gone, took all her stuff with her, and no apparent damage. Go Figure! She did leave a voicemail Friday while I was at work. Apparently, she thought I was going to meet her there at noon and give her security deposit back on the spot. Said she needs her money back and will see me in court!!
LOL!!
I have 45 days to return it, but I don't keep it for no reason. It will be in the mail Monday - or Tuesday at the latest. If only she had given me a forwarding address, she would get it a lot faster - oh well!
Actually, not all that funny. Makes me wonder if she has only ever rented from a slumlord - like has been discussed here recently. She clearly is poised to defend "her rights". But no worries for me. Too bad for her she couldn't recognize a good landlord when she got one and learn to chill & get along.

Congrats on getting her out - follow the SD rules, but don't rush getting the $ back to her if you have 45 days to do that.
