Nicotine is in sunflower seeds in case you didn't know. When I feed birds, whichever feeder has those in it kills all the grass and weeds below it. I did use sunflower seeds way back when I wanted to quit smoking forty years ago. A spoonful of nice salty preshelled sunflowers seeds will supply enough nicotine so that you can pass up that cigarette. I once inherited a heavy-smoking tenant. When he moved out, there wasn't just yellow brown crud on the walls and ceilings. It was even inside the refrigerator.
