Yup, they go bad from time to time. Any hardware store likely carried them. They can give advice on how to change them out or get a friend that knows how or hire it done. --23.121.xx.xxx |

Get a professional. It's good to have an electrician look at the breaker box to make sure it's not a fire hazard with water leaks etc. Bad breakers that don't work can cause a fire. --69.141.xxx.xxx |

First off the model and serial number along with series of circuit breaker panel. Each circuit breaker has current rating so you need to know if the current rating is exceeded for the circuit breaker to trip. --147.194.xxx.xxx |

It could be bad and if you plug in the equipment and it runs fine in another room then it is a inexpensive repair - not modifying anything inside the walls, just use the same style/make. I get a lot of call sabout the gfci tripping, take my trusty clock radio there and all is well, plug in the microwave and klik, add a cord to reach another room - plug in and ZAPPO the microwave smokes, hurry and open the door so I can get this out before the smoke alarms wake up next door nieghbors... --76.188.xxx.xx |

Carla, it's good that you came here to get info on a topic. Next time don't use both your first and last name. This is a very public site and these days, anyone can find YOU, your properties, and your family! Just a word to the wise. Make yourself a 'handle' in future. --108.87.xx.xxx |
