State Specific Question About: ILLINOIS (IL)

Thanks everyone for your input about my query of what is required by the landlord after he receives judgment and permission to remove tenant and possessions from the premises in St. Clair County, IL.

1. Sheriff's deputy arrives to remove tenant.

2. Landlord and workers remove all items in the rental unit and

place by the curb or roadside.

3. Landlord has no liability for items after removal. Landlord is not

responsible for the items after removable.

4. After 72 hours, landlord can dispose of the items anyway he

wants. if anything is left. Evicted tenant can claim the items

any time during that 72 hour period.

You might want to put an ad on craiglist to clear the lawn before you get a trash ticket being setout too long or too early. --76.188.xxx.xx

Haha! I was helping Daughter and Son In Law 20,000 with the final cleaning of their flip. As I dragged the nasty old vanity from the carport to the street, SIL was thumbing it into CL from his phone.

By the time I reached the street!! someone was at the curb WAITING for the vanity! Then the CL person walked up to the carport and snagged the other items aimed toward the curb!

Between a daily refreshed Craigslist Curb Alert ad and the Free Category ad along with 1-2 free bulk pickups from my trash company and usually most if not all is gone. If its a boatload and still have a lot left over I just post junk removal on Craigslist and someone will take it to the dump for reasonable price. --173.239.xxx.x
