Happened in the next town over. I loved our local comments. "The sheriff has provided temporary housing without charge." ;)

Not paying rent and charged with multiple felonies. Sounds like she is going to be getting some "we cannot approve your application at this time" responses.
Land lord wasn't acting smart when reaching inside the car, or even going over physically to chase past due rent. Desperate people do crazy stuff. Be safe: a month's rent isn't worth being crippled or killed. --173.17.xx.xx |

The landlord got ran over by a deadbeat,
Walking home from the courthouse Christmas Eve!
Now you can say there's no such thing as deadbeats,
but as for me and the sheriff, we believe!
She'd been getting too much food stamps
And we begged her just TO GO!
But she forgot her illegal medication as she stumbled out the door into the snow!
When we found her eviction morning, at the scene of the attack, she yelled incoherently, "Don't touch my stuff, cuz I'll be back!"
Now we're all so proud of the landlord, he'd been taking this so well!
Watching it all unfold on security cameras, laughs to himself and says go to he//!
Haha. Sorry, just one of those mornings!

I have empathy for a LL wanting the rent but come on!
What did he hope to accomplish by reaching into the car? Help her drive to the bank?
I stopped knocking on doors YEARS ago because it is a total waste of time AND an opportunity to get shot.
Why get bit when a text will do!?
This LL needs to come to Convention to learn how to DO LESS, MAKE MORE! (and not get bit!)
I wonder if he needs rabies shots?...
