Anyone have any experience with this court? I am going there next week for a tenant eviction for non payment. Usually in New Haven Court. Haven't been in Bridgeport for 10 plus years --32.210.xxx.xxx |

More often then not they often do not show up at the hearing. Sometimes they raise the issue of non repair where they have no evidence of any serious building or fire code violations. IE leaking roof, serious plumbing or electrical problem. If have copies of all repair bills along bills of things bought for repairs this is usually a non issue where at the hearing they often give time for the tenant to pay the arrears then the writ of possession is issued where can go down to the sheriffs office. Consider joining a landlords association where Google to find one. Careful credit checks eliminate a lot of the problem tenants where often they never return with a completely filled out rental application. --147.194.xxx.xxx |
