Was just giving some thought to the fact that we can expense any item under 2500.00.

And how I could use this for HVAC systems.

Had a couple replacements last year and just replaced the outdoor unit to get under the 2500.00. And then may follow up with the indoor this year. These were already 410a systems.

I know we can not get away with buying a system and paying labor separate in the same year.

So what about buying a indoor/outdoor units and keeping one complete system on hand.

Then only install the unit in the next tax year when we expense the labor in a different year.

Any opinions,

Thanks

Marv - is that true? Can you provide a link that specifies what is considered "part of the building"? --71.175.xxx.xxx
