Ok, talking with my AP about flowcharts, Gantt projects and such.
We need punchlist, flowchart, Gantt chart for our projects and procedures.
I want to be able to hand this to someone and have them perform the list or task in order.
I also want KPI (key performance indicators) keeping my business flowing and growing
I told AP that by not pushing 3 keyboard buttons 2 weeks earlier cost me money, lots of it. I gotta have more flashing lights KPIs to let me know to push those buttons at the right time.
OK, what do you folks use. I am talking software I can customize, reuse, mutliply uses, and prints list or charts

Probably most of the readers on this board do not even know what a Gnatt chart is. Back in the day, I used to use Microsoft project -- I don't even know if that is around anymore, but google "project management software". The software will create your task lists. --98.146.xxx.xx |

Are you going into ground up construction?
Mine for flips is a checklist. I'll stop by everyday to monitor the progress or send me pics every day. The contractor's job is to meet the specs and the deadline.

Darn it. Forgot to include - I use the pert chart version. It really helps me identify work flow and focus on the critical path.

I used to use MS Project manager but it is a relic that has a long learning curve and due to licensing issues can't be shared easily.
If you require desktop platforms your choices are limited since most are cloud based for team sharing. I use Liquid Planner it has all the features of MS PM but it is much more agile but it might be overkill based on your description.
If you don't need anything as complex I suggest Gantt Project a free online tool. If that is too simple try either Wrike or Zoho Project.
If you use Office 365 they've come out with a product called Planner which is a watered down more user friendly version of MS Project. --71.75.xx.xx |

Lee, Some rehabbers in my area really like using Trello, they said they can give other people like contractors access to view and maybe edit lists. I have not started looking at it in depth yet but they really recommended it along with using pictures and facetime.
Are you using it for rehab projects or managing rentals, maintenance etc.
