I have a couple of difficult female tenants that may have a little bi polar going on, or demons. Some days they are nice and other days, it's like the exorcist. Anybody else have female tenants like this and if so, how do you handle them? They like to beat up on my maintenance guy (verbally) lately which is pretty stupid if you want things to get fixed. It seems like they need a whipping boy. Thanks for your input..!!

It says in my written criteria that I don't accept anyone who harasses me or harrasses anyone that works for me, and I mean it. Tenants who cause trouble don't stay.
It's a lot harder to find a good handyman than it is to find another tenant. I'm not allowing a tenant to drive my handyman away.

Ive had tenants like this. t join in and then we are unstoppable!
The maintenance guy quits when this happens. Then he gets crazy too and comes back. LOL
My suggestion? Handle them like you would any other crazy tenant. Wait for a full moon and hand them a notice to cure- let the games begin!

This thread is hilarious! Our last departing tenants- who happened to be men- were slobs and they whined about everything. They fit no stereotype and who cares about their gender.

AMY: It wasn't intended to "stereotype" simply my experience over the years. When I first started if I had two equally qualified tenants where one was a man and the other a woman I almost always chose the woman thinking they would take better care of the property. I was wrong.
