I have a duplex with kitchen cabinets that are solid, but doors were very cheap and are very tired. I've found a few online places that sell nice looking doors and drawer fronts. Do any of you have recommendations or advice for this? I can do the install myself without trouble.
Thanks in advance!

Some towns and cities have kitchen cabinet makers where new doors can made up locally. Take a kitchen door off then visit a local kitchen cabinet maker. A lot depends on the cost locally or ordering outside. --147.194.xxx.xxx |

I do this all of the time myself, I'm a licensed contractor. The biggest mistake people do is adding new drawer fronts which adds weight to the drawer. The old guilds/slider/track always fall apart and the new kitchen that looks good doesn't function.
SO I install new hardware, hinges, handles, guides, etc.
Then it looks nice and works well. --47.156.xx.xx |

I know you can get them at Home Depot and Lowes. I know there are several online companies where you can buy just the doors and drawer fronts but I'm not familiar with their quality.
Try google to see if they have any reviews.

Interesting question - I have a sfh with just about the same thing - great boxes, crappy doors and drawer fronts.
RobertJ's recommendations make a lot of sense. --71.175.xxx.xxx |

Home Depot has a DIY program called Facelifters. You can order new doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes, and all the hardware you need to completely update the cabinets. The doors are made to your specific dimensions. No trying to match door size exactly to some preexisting size. Getting the doors already finished gives you a factory baked on finish and will save you significant time in your project. Match the doors to your existing finish or have the paint dept mix paint that matches your new doors. The kitchen designer should be familiar with the program. --70.16.xx.xx |
