My husband texted our "cook" tenant and asked him if he had the rent money & cleaned up the trash? (Did not mention the court date today) Tenant said he did but didn't get off tonight until 9:30 p.m. We'll see. Not getting the money that late but the Judge did agree to give my husband the writ of possession, and it is good for one year so we are in a lot better position. I had checked a few days ago & the trash had not been gotten up so I'd just like to get him out so I can get a better tenant in there.

Exactly, that is all it is is a pain. Lied about GF calling to meet us with the money today, they are just trying to buy some time. I saw a post on FB where she said change is coming soon, just not soon enough. I guess that meant tax refund money, I don't really care.

We have been working on and spending a lot on a recent rehab. Didn't really want to have to remodel this unit after a 4 year tenant that smoked & had pets. But, to get a better grade tenant, we will have to do it.

I am just SO thankful, he didn't appear & dispute anything because the Judge has to give them more time. Judge already stated that he is awarding us possession, it just has to be sent to sheriff's office & processed.
