Well, I tried the credit report on this site and I found it so confusing. I wanted the $24.95 report but found nowhere to get it. I ended up with another 2 reports that I "had" to check off as free otherwise the page wouldn't go through. Very disappointed with this program.
Followed the instructions for "tenant screening" but never saw the report I wanted.
Someone mentioned that I had to give lots of information about myself even before I could get a report, but I found nowhere where that information was asked for.
So, $25 gone and very disappointed. Is it me?!! Maybe some suggestions?

Someone will come along and help you. I've always been treated fairly here and you should be please with the resolution. It's a process to get signed up for credit reports but once you do you'll be bless by the information and convince. Jo,I used to get my reports from Paul and his son from Feeding Hills In Massachusetts,then they sold to some outfit in Florida,which then sold to an outfit in Virginia,none of this nonsense about having to be certified If you want their number,let me know and I'll look it up for you......charlie ....................................................................... --174.199.x.xxx

Someone did say it was a process, but that page never came up. Also, on the top of the page in red letters it says that I needed a signed form from the person in order to run a report.....that page never came up either.
So.....I got to put some someones social into a system that never asked for verification?!!
So, I don't have a credit report, just criminal to which there was nothing, so I am out $25. I feel cheated. Is there a way to redo this process? I followed the directions as they came up, but got a completely different result. --32.215.xxx.xxx

In order to get a credit report from this site, you have to have a site visit to demonstrate security of the confidential information obtained, usually a password protected computer, a lockable desk drawer and a paper shredder. Did you do this? If not, you did not purchase a true credit report. --50.77.xxx.xxx

Once you get setup properly the reports come thru with creditors followed by a string of circles, inside the circles indicates how far behind the payments to these creditors are, good ones report 30-60 days, once past 150 the letter -c- means they are in collections, yes your prospect must sign an application where a social is there and to be sure I have the correct person I take a photo of the photo id sitting right on top of the form, the patriot act of 2005 (I think) requires this information be kept locked up forever (although a local class suggested 7 years after tenant moved or account was paid in full), as I look at my screen this is a yellow box near the top and the middle. --76.188.xxx.xx

Hey Jo, you can trust that I won't let you or anyone else using a service promoted through this site get cheated. Did you call the phone support for the credit check service? They are there to assist you, answer any questions, and make sure you are properly set up to get the reports you desire.
Their toll-free phone number is 1-888-294-4640. If you have any trouble reaching them, contact our main MrLandlord.com customer service line (757=436-2606) during business hours and we will make sure someone gets back with you from the credit check service. In addition, it's my hope that you do not continue to feel that you may have lost $25. In fact, if you are fully signed up and using the service for the first time, your first two $25 combination reports are free.
I will also be glad to intervene if necessary to make sure you are not cheated and will personally reimburse you for your $25 if that is what it takes for you to be completely satisfied. I personally have used the screening services for almost 20 years and I believe you will discover once you begin using them on a regular basis, that it is actually easy to use, quick, inexpensive and provides a lot of helpful info on the reports. Jo, I suspect you didn't sign up. Like CGB said, there's a screening process to make sure you are able to manage that secure information properly.
The "signed permission" should be on your application. The credit check bureau doesn't ask for it, but by law you need to have it before you can pull a credit report on anyone. --204.210.xxx.xxx

Jeffrey, thanks for you response and concern. It was the first time for me using the service and evidently I did not either read the directions properly, or misunderstood them.
I did contact them and they told me how to take the steps to go through the complete process so I can get set up for the credit checks that I want to receive.
