For the last 2 weeks, my vacancy got 1 call and one response from Facebook market.
Today, 3 emails, 2 calls, 2 FB market responses. We've passed the holidays, and the folks who have leases ending Jan 31st are starting to look around in my area. Maybe you're still buried in the 3 feet of snow, but chin up! Govt gimmie money time...err, I mean, tax refund anticipation loans will start coming in late Jan/early Feb. A lot of renters will have that once-per-year financial boost they count on for deposits, first month's rent, and a moving truck.
To quote RB, screen x3. Don't get impatient and take a bad tenant due to a prolonged winter vacancy. New tenants are just around the corner!

Sid - I'm noticing the same thing here. Not many calls for a while now. Last week, the trickle began. It's a steady stream now. With the way it's going, I hope to have at least a couple rented by this weekend. Once the W-2's start hitting and people file taxes, it should be even better.
