I have a 3/4" drop going from a bathroom floor to a hallway. I can't find a transition strip that works. Need wisdom here. Thank you. --75.187.xx.xx |

I have used the one that snaps into the plastic clip mounted on the floor, just added a strip of door trim to smooth out the bump - glue on with construction adhesive. --76.188.xxx.xx |

WE would just make one in a few minutes out of oak with a table saw and router.
But like plenty(mo) said look at box store by the laminate and hardwood flooring ones.
Should be able to get something close. Make have to still add a piece of of the shelf oak molding under one side.
Of course even with a hand saw. Could always just get a piece of 3/4" oak or PVC board. Do a 45 degree cut on one side. Then the cheap metal threshold strip on top of this.
By the oak lumber they sell 3 ft pieces of oak 1/4' , 1/2" and 3/4". Should be able to add one of these to a pre made strip to work. --73.177.xxx.xx |

Should have added. Then wood should step down so wider than the metal strip. Can even use 3 pieces of 1/4" stepping down to each one so more of a taper. --73.177.xxx.xx |

Go into the website to Schluter products where there are many different types of transition fittings for different types of flooring. --147.194.xxx.xxx |
