Have a place posted on a couple of local FB groups. It's not available yet, not until January but it's listed. It's one of our tiny studios.
Had a pleasant surprise today when someone commented, "I love these places! I heard the owner is a good landlord. I'd rent one today if my circumstances were different."

James/NC, they are 16' x 16'. 256 square feet. Full bath, decent kitchen with 2-burner cooktop, convection oven, microwave, fridge.
The huge appeal is they are right on the water, relatively cheap ($700 a month) and pet-friendly.
The record is someone stayed for 12 years. Runner-up stayed for 7. Right now everyone is new - this year. --173.22.xx.xx |

Well what goes up must come down. The previous long-term residents way over-planted and the people who live here now are not gardeners. So I texted all the old ones (group of ladies, one of whom got kicked out for peeing under a new resident's unit and so they all eventually left) and asked them if they wanted to come get any of their remaining plantings before I have them pulled out.
One of them was very insulted and posted on FB about landlords getting rid of good tenants and replacing with bad. Did not name me but of course I knew who she was talking about...she obviously does not realize how much of a relief it was for me when they left!
